- Lindera erythrocarpa phytoplacenta extract comes from the placenta of the fruit of Lindera erythrocarpa, a shrub of the laurel family. The placenta is the tissue inside the fruit to which the seeds are attached. It is used in cosmetics to condition hair, attract moisture, protect the skin, act as an antioxidant and limit microbial growth.
