- Kluyveromyces/Lactobacillus/Ophiopogon japonicus root oil ferment filtrate is a liquid obtained by fermenting oil from the root of Ophiopogon japonicus (dwarf lilyturf) with Kluyveromyces yeast and Lactobacillus bacteria, then filtering it. It is used in cosmetics as an antioxidant, to condition the skin and to help protect the skin's surface.
