- Ethylenediamine/dimer tallate copolymer bis-hydrogenated tallow amide is a synthetic polyamide made by joining ethylenediamine with paired fatty acids from tall oil, with the chain ends capped by fatty amides from hydrogenated tallow. It is used to thicken products, to help keep skin in good condition, and in oral care products.
