- In brief
- Nonapeptide-1 is a synthetic nonapeptide derived from arginine, lysine, methionine, phenylalanine, proline, tryptophan and valine. Nonapeptide-1 is a synthetic peptide used in skin care to brighten the complexion and reduce dark spots. It blocks the skin signals that trigger melanin (pigment) production. By stopping these triggers, it prevents uneven skin tone and helps fade existing sun spots or hyperpigmentation.
